Merry not Scary - Still Socially Distant - Halloween
Friday, October 22, 2021
Things are getting spooky at the West Baton Rouge Museum, and we are looking forward to celebrating! Please join the West Baton Rouge Museum and the West Baton Rouge Parish Library for our annual “Merry not Scary- Still Socially Distant- Halloween.” This FREE event will take place Friday, October 22, 2021, from 6:30-9:00 PM, on the grounds of the West Baton Rouge Museum.
Get ready for tricks, treats, and a whole lot of fun! From 6:30-7:30 trick-or-treaters can enjoy a fortune teller, crafts, activities and more across our six-acre campus. Come in your favorite Halloween costume to participate in the fun and get your picture taken- all before the grand finale!
Starting at 7:30, we will be showing a family friendly Halloween movie on the lawn. Bring your beach towels, blankets, and lawn chairs to maximize your viewing experience. Keep up with both the West Baton Rouge Museum and the West Baton Rouge Parish Library on social media and their respective websites to learn what movie will be playing on the outdoor screen!
The West Baton Rouge Museum is located at 845 N. Jefferson Avenue in Port Allen. In the event of rain, activities will be moved to the West Baton Rouge Community Center and Pavilion. We will be following guidelines set by the Center for Disease Control.
