About the Community Center

It was opened in 2006 and will hold about 700 people at a sit down function. We have tables and chairs for you to use along with a built in stage and an ice maker in the kitchen for your use. It has a large parking area that is concrete and gravel. It is owned and operated by the West Baton Rouge Parish Council Recreation and Parks Department.

Bookings

Bookings/Rentals are handled at the West Baton Rouge Community Center:
749 N Jefferson Avenue
Port Allen, LA 70767

You must be a West Baton Rouge Parish resident to book or rent any of the centers owned and operated by the West Baton Rouge Parish Council Parks and Recreation Department.

Fees

Fees are accepted in the form of checks, money orders or credit card (3% convenience fee), no cash is accepted.

• Booking Fee: There is a $250 fee due at the time of booking.
• Deposit Fee: $250 refundable fee due 3 weeks before the date of the booked function.

Weddings

The individual booking the center must be the bride or groom and/or the parents/grandparents of the bride or the groom and must be a West Baton Rouge Parish Resident.  The fee for weddings booked in advance of the book opening:
